Rachel has been a real discovery for us, despite believing we knew our way around in Evran. As we embarked on the renovation of the old barn attached to our existing property it became clear that we needed someone on site and available in whom we had trust. Mlle Gallard was of great assistance to me when I purchased a new build apartment in 2007. In a professional manner she guided me through the negotiation stage during our meetings with the notaire.

I was extremely pleased with the way that she handled every situation; it was her calm approach which helped me to deal with this stressful episode.

Rachel's determination when liaising with the builders and pushing for completion of the snagging list was admirable, as numerous phone calls and letters were required to proceed with the builders, plumbers and technicians involved.

Miss Gallard has carried out organisational and interpreter works for our company's business activities in France for a number of years.

Rachel assisted me after the death of my husband in France by accompanying me to two meetings with the Notaire.

She was tactful, discreet but firm in her approach and her assistance greatly appreciated. This was a very difficult situation owing to the unfortunate way our home had been purchased some fifteen years before, when we had had no assistance or translation and the Acte de Vente differed from the original Compromis de Vente which had been described to us. This resulted in inheritance problems.

How I wish we had had Rachel with us when we had signed that important document those years ago, as it would have avoided so many difficulties! I also look back to the many struggles we initially had with paperwork, electricity and rates let alone workmen and would have been so grateful for Rachel's help!

I think of Rachel as an intellectual Dyno-Rod for the French system, only more attractive. I point her at the blockage and in a her unique style - a combination of tact, diplomacy and relentless high pressure, the problem just goes away.
